Who we are
We are The Servants of Christ the King, a charity registered in England no. 249609. Our website address is: http://www.sck.org.uk.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
We use personal data including names, email addresses, postal addresses and phone numbers for purposes of replying to your contact messages. If and only if you give your active consent, we will retain this data for inclusion in a mailing list of former SCK members wishing to be kept in touch.
We also keep paper archives contained in minutes, accounts, conference proceedings, newsletters, research papers and other documents. These include some personal data on SCK members. We use these for historical research purposes only.
Our website includes a contact form. The personal data which you provide on this form is used to enable us to send a reply, if one is required. Unless you specifically ask us to contact you again in future, we will hold your contact details for no more than three months.
Our website does not set any cookies.
We use a third party service AWStats (https://www.awstats.org/) to analyse the standard log provided by our server. This tells us, for example, how many users visit the various parts of our site, at what times the site is most busy, and what search engines and other automated software are visiting the site. We do not use analytics to find out the identities of people visiting our site.
Who we share your data with
We do not share your data with any third parties.
How long we retain your data
We keep contact form entries for up to three months unless you specifically ask us to keep you on a mailing list. We keep the mailing list of former SCK members who have actively requested to be included until the person or their representative has asked for the data to be amended or removed from the list. Documents which we keep for historical research purposes only are currently being listed and will be offered to Lambeth Palace Library, where the existing SCK archives are held. When Lambeth Palace Library has decided which documents to accept, these will be handed over, after which we will securely destroy any archive papers still remaining.
What rights you have over your data
If you are on our mailing list of former SCK members, or have sent us a message through the Contacts page on our website, you can request to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you.
Where we process and send your data
Your data is processed and stored in the United Kingdom. We do not process or send your data outside the European Union.
Contacting us about privacy concerns
If you have privacy-specific concerns, you can contact us by emailing the SCK webmaster on email@example.com.
